Can
I keep my own car?
Of course! Parking is available in our parking lot or you
can rent one of our convenient garages for a nominal monthly
fee.
Do
you provide transportation?
Our shuttle bus goes to Kroger, Wal-Mart, Bank and
Hickory Point Mall once a week. We will help register you with the
Decatur Taxi service for trips to the Dr.'s office. Round
trips are $3.00.
Will
Medicare pay for my apartment?
Tanglewood is a private pay facility. As a non-government
subsidized facility, outside funding is not available.
Do
you have visiting hours?
Tanglewood is your home. Visitors may come and go as you
please. The door is locked in the evening but a coded keypad
will allow your visitors access during the day or night.
Can
I cook in my apartment?
Three delicious home cooked meals are included with the
monthly rent for our studio and one bedroom apartment. Our
meals are served 365 days a year. There is an extra kitchen
available for resident's use in our Sunroom. You and your
family can prepare a meal and eat in our private dining room
which is available by reservation.
Is anyone available in case
of an emergency?
Our resident managers live on-site so there is always a
staff member to answer emergency pull cords 24-hours a day.
